1/2" Hose Union Bib Tap with Double Check Valve
A brass 1/2" BSP outside tap with a hose union outlet and a built-in double check valve. It is the standard choice for fitting or replacing an outside garden tap on a mains cold supply, and the integral check valve protects the supply against backflow from a connected hose.

Installation & compliance
Seal the thread with PTFE tape or a suitable thread sealant. Outside taps should have an isolating valve inside the property so the tap can be drained down in freezing weather. Installation should follow the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
