Radiator Lockshield Valve
A single radiator lockshield valve for balancing flow through a radiator on a wet central heating system. Choose the 15mm angled valve with an integral drain-off, or the 10mm straight valve for microbore pipework. Sold individually; pair with a TRV or wheelhead valve on the other side of the radiator.

- Lockshield cap: set once during commissioning to balance the radiator, then left alone
- 15mm angled version has a built-in drain-off, so the radiator can be drained without removing it from the wall
- 10mm straight version for microbore systems where pipes enter the radiator from the side

Installation and compliance
Fit to the radiator return in place of the existing lockshield, using PTFE or a jointing compound on the tail thread. Drain down or isolate the radiator before changing a valve. After fitting, balance the system so each radiator reaches temperature evenly. Installation should be carried out by a competent person.
