Secon Trade Coated Slit & Seal Pipe Insulation, 19mm Wall x 2m
Closed-cell nitrile rubber (NBR) pipe insulation with a weatherproof, UV-resistant coating bonded to the outer surface. The slit & seal design means it fits straight over existing pipework: a self-adhesive strip joins the cut edges and a self-adhesive flap wraps over to seal the joint. Sold per 2m length, in 19mm wall thickness for 22mm, 28mm and 35mm pipe.

Installation & compliance
Make sure pipework is clean and dry before fitting. Peel back the release liner, close the slit firmly along its length, then fold the overlap flap down to seal. Butt joints between lengths and around fittings should be sealed with a suitable insulation tape or adhesive. For heat pump installations, insulate all external flow and return pipework to meet MCS and Building Regulations requirements, and keep insulation continuous through the wall to avoid cold bridging.
