The genuine Worcester Bosch EasyControl Adapter (part number 7736701560) lets the Worcester Bosch EasyControl smart thermostat be used with boilers from other manufacturers. It connects either through the OpenTherm protocol or to a boiler with a 230V room thermostat connection. When connected via the 230V connection, only central heating can be controlled.

Options
The EasyControl thermostat itself is sold separately. An internet connection is needed for the EasyControl app features. Worcester Bosch boilers that support EasyControl directly do not need this adapter.
Installation and compliance
Check your boiler's control connection (OpenTherm or 230V room thermostat) before ordering. Wiring to the boiler involves mains voltage and should be carried out by a competent, qualified installer in line with the manufacturer's instructions and BS 7671.
