Y-Type Gas Strainer, 50 Micron, Compression
A brass Y-type strainer with a fine 50 micron mesh, for fitting in natural gas or LPG supply pipework to catch debris before it reaches a gas valve, regulator or appliance. Compression ends on both sides, available in 15mm and 22mm.
- Y-pattern body with a screw-out cap for removing and cleaning the mesh
- 50 micron mesh screen for gas service

Installation and compliance
Fit with the flow arrow on the body pointing in the direction of gas flow, and so the mesh can be reached for cleaning. Work on gas pipework must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, with a tightness test after fitting.
