Inta-Vent Automatic Air Eliminator

The Inta-Vent from Inta is an in-line deaerator for sealed central heating and heat pump systems. Water enters at the base and passes through a wound stainless steel mesh coil. Micro-bubbles collect on the mesh, merge, rise to the top of the body and are released through the automatic air vent. Available in 22mm (IV22) and 28mm (IV28) compression.

Options

Choose the size to match the system pipework. Use the 28mm version on larger systems and heat pump primary circuits run in 28mm.

Installation and compliance

Inta's instructions: flush the system thoroughly first, then fit on the warmest part of the system (ideally just after the boiler or heat pump on heating systems, or on the return on cooling systems). The air vent must face upwards, the flow arrow must match the direction of flow, and isolation valves should be fitted either side. Install by a competent heating engineer. Pair with a magnetic filter to deal with dirt and magnetite as well as air.
