Primary Pro External Pipe Insulation, 1m Lengths
Primary Pro is an external pipe insulation system for air source heat pump primary pipework. Each length has a flexible, waterproof, UV-protected coating, so it can be cut or mitred on site and used outside without a separate cladding. Joints, gaps and the connections to the heat pump are sealed with Primary Pro Bond & Seal.

Choose the pipe size from the Size option. Primary Pro also make 22mm and 28mm sizes, pre-made elbows and joint covers; contact us if you need these.
Installation & compliance
Fit to clean, dry pipework. Seal all joints, gaps, external fittings and the connections to the heat pump with Primary Pro Bond & Seal, and follow the Primary Pro installation guidance. The manufacturer recommends checking the insulation at the annual service and applying Primary Pro Maintenance Coat if wear or discolouration is visible. Insulating external primary pipework is required for MCS heat pump installations.
