Installation and compliance
Installation
Installation must be by a Gas Safe registered engineer (oil: OFTEC registered), to the boiler's installation instructions and Building Regulations (Approved Document J). Use only Viessmann flue and plume components with Vitodens boilers.
Check maximum equivalent flue lengths for the boiler and route in the installation manual. Where a terminal is 2m or less above ground next to a public footpath, fit a terminal guard.
