Conex Bänninger >B< MaxiPro Fitting Reducer

A flame-free fitting reducer from the Conex Bänninger >B< MaxiPro range for imperial (inch) refrigeration-grade copper on air conditioning, heat pump and refrigeration pipework. The large end is a fitting-size spigot that goes straight into the socket of another MaxiPro fitting (for example an elbow or coupler); the small end is a press socket for the smaller tube. Pressing replaces brazing, so there is no hot work, no nitrogen purge and no fire risk on site. Sold individually.

Options

Choose the size from the Size option above. The first figure is the fitting (spigot) end, the second is the tube (press) end. If you need to reduce tube-to-tube, use a reducing coupler instead.

Installation and compliance

MaxiPro fittings must be pressed with a MaxiPro-approved press tool and the correct MaxiPro jaws; check the tool compatibility information in the technical brochure before use. Tube must be clean, deburred, fully inserted and marked to the correct insertion depth, and the spigot end must be fully inserted into the receiving MaxiPro fitting, as set out in the installation instructions. Work on refrigerant circuits must be carried out by an F-Gas certified engineer, and the system pressure and leak tested before charging.
