Flexible Oil Burner Hose, 900mm: Braided and Bio-Approved
Replacement flexible oil lines for connecting the fixed oil supply pipework to a pressure-jet oil burner on domestic kerosene boilers. Each hose is 900mm long with a 1/4" BSP bent (90° elbow) fitting at the burner end and a straight female swivel nut at the supply end. Choose the hose type and end fittings to match the line you are replacing.
- 900mm long, 1/4" BSP bent fitting x 1/4" or 3/8" BSP female swivel nut
- Braided: hose with a steel over-braid, for kerosene and gas oil
- Bio-approved: bio-resistant hose for burners running on kerosene or bio-blend fuels

Choosing the right hose
Check the existing line before ordering: which end is bent, whether the bent end is male or female, and the thread size of the straight nut (1/4" or 3/8" BSP). If the boiler runs on a bio-blend fuel or HVO, or the manufacturer asks for bio-approved hoses, choose a bio-approved hose.
Installation and compliance
Flexible oil hoses age and should be inspected at every service and replaced as part of routine maintenance, in line with the boiler and burner manufacturer's instructions. Fit with the hose free of kinks, twists and tension, keep it away from hot surfaces, and check all joints for leaks after the burner has run. Oil-fired appliances should be serviced by an OFTEC-registered technician.
